THE SITUATED POSITION

Performance 30 minutes
The performance consists of a rock placed in an empty room, and in the sound of a singing lesson transmitted in the same room. The singing lesson attending by the artist is happening live from a remote location.
The rock was placed in Holesovicka Sachta gallery in Prague (CZ) as part of Performance Crossing 2020, while the singing lesson was taking place in Kalamata (GR) under the guidance of the voice trainer Emma Musty.
Because the artist couldn't be physically present in the search of the rock, she asked for help from people in Prague in order to make it possible anyway.
The entire process needed to make the dislocation of the stone possible is collected in the instruction manual "How to move a stone in Prague if you are far away".
